Cabrini Immigrant Services turned 25 years old on June 15!
On the anniversary, a wonderful evening was organized with music, good food but most of all togetherness!
Sr. Pietrina Raccuglia and Alex Avitabile received the ” Cabrini Heart ” award for their commitment to serving the immigrant population of New York and for carrying on Mother Cabrini’s legacy in their lives and work. Sr. Pietrina founded the center while Alex has dedicated his career to justice in housing and is a passionate advocate for immigrants and a generous supporter of CIS-NYC.
