At the end of the 19th century, Francesca Cabrini set out as a missionary nun from the town in the Lodi area where she was born to New York to assist Italian migrants who were literally starving and being discriminated against because of their origins and conditions. The Saint’s story has become a film that is having great success in the United States and will soon arrive in Italian theaters as well.
