On March 25 2023, St. Philis`s Youth Group in eSwatini went out to spend the day together. There were 25 young people who participated, and they were accompanied by Sr. Meseret and Etagegn of the MSC Community of St. Philips, the Parish Priest, and one Cabrini staff member, who was also the driver.
The main purpose was to get to know each other and build relationships between them. During the outing, they had the chance to talk about strengthening their spiritual lives, and also how to continue the journey they had started together that day. Sr. Meseret and Etagegn encouraged them to be strong and responsible youth in, and for, the Church, since we all belong to the Church, and the Church is for all of us.
They also had time for taking group pictures, swimming, eating together the special meal prepared, and celebrating the birthdays of those who were born between January and March with a delicious cake.
Sr Meseret wrote: “It was a wonderful day! I personally enjoyed being with the youth, especially because it is my desire to be part of this ministry.”
